In yet another episode of SVU that casts aspersions on the non-NYC parts of the country, Warren Leight decides to sully the reputation of Matt Saracen by making him a stepfather who has been raping his stepdaughter, who wants to flush out their rape-baby. Given that she's from Ohio which had just passed a fetal heartbeat abortion bill, this means we've got ourselves a polemic episode where backwards Buckeye State laws butt heads with the Big Apple, something that SVU rarely does well.
