Fine dining is hell, apparently. If you don't believe The Bear, I guess you could turn to this SVU for further evidence, but that might be giving it more credit than it's due.

Here, we watch as Not Gordon Ramsey throws temper tantrums in his terribly named fine dining effort, pushing likely questionably sourced prawns, screaming at his expos, and sexually assaulting his wait staff. This guy is a real a-hole, but he keeps shaking the charges, which leads the Unit to working with--or is it against--the Brooklyn ADA who really dug Stone's pickoff move. One look at which season this one comes from should tell you everything you need to know. Characters do things they'd never have done under a different guiding hand, details aren't well thought out, and nothing makes sense. Come along for the ride as we have a field day with this Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

The Randomizer (episode.lol) spat out the final episode of the disastrous Michael Chernuchin Era, which meant the Munchie Boys were force-fed the final part of some serialized content. Of course, here, this means we have long-time series regulars acting entirely uncharacteristically, including characters we'd known for 20 years. Perhaps more importantly, this episode eschews all common sense, asking society to act insanely in addition to its characters. This episode brings a season to a close that almost killed the series, and it's bad enough that Adam and Josh have to ask if it shouldn't have been put down.

Adam's Paternity Leave continues, so we're busting out the second part of a hellish two-parter.

When we watched the conclusion to the two-part Season 19 finale ("Remember Me Too" Episode 24), we might have taken the opportunity to research the migration patterns of monarch butterflies or the structure of the Sinaloa Cartel or the various degree programs at Gonzaga were this a standard, functional episode of SVU. Instead, we were treated to a mind-melting melange of unbelievable plot lines, inconceivable character motivations, and abysmal acting. Was it good? Obviously not. Did we have fun watching and then excoriating this complete and utter waste of network resources? You bet we did.

This week, ADA Peter Stone's fast and loose lifestyle during his younger days when he was still a baseball player comes screaming into the world of our SVUs. What happens when a main cast member is the lead suspect in the case the SVUs are investigating? Well, that largely depends on the showrunner and the according professionalism with which they execute the production of a television show. In this case, we're watching an episode from Season 20, and the results are... NOT GREAT, BOB.
